• Awful service, ok food

  We were very disappointed by the service at this restaurant. It had been recommended to us, and we booked a table while visiting Ledbury. We had to wait for ten minutes before being given drinks, and at this point asked to order our food. We were told by the waitress that we couldn't order food because the kitchen wasn't ready for us. Later on - still not being able to order food - we managed to get the attention of the restaurant owner, who not only told us that we still couldn't order, but rudely told us that this was a busy restaurant, and that we had only been waiting for 20 minutes, and that he would not take our order until the kitchen was ready. Eventually the original waitress took our order, and we stated that we were unhappy with the way that we had been treated, but she offered little in the way of apology, and we received no apology from the restaurant owner.
